Memorial Construction continues on track - 09 Feb 2017

Construction of Stage1 of the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial on Anzac Parade continues on programme.

Two major milestones have been achieved with the completion of the concrete platform (foundations, slab, walls, seats) and the lifting into place of the prefabricated incline planes and, above them, the 22m long memorial beam that will record all the Australian Peacekeeping missions.

The steps, cobblestones and ground inscriptions (the courtyard) will be completed next.

Planning to commence Stage 2 and the construction of the 6m high monoliths is underway.
