APMP National Office Opened at Parker & Partners - 22 April 2010

When Greg Sam, Joint Managing Director of Parker & Partners, recently signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project he confirmed that the Company was a true ''Partner of Peacekeeping'' in helping to build a national memorial for Australian Peacekeeping.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding Parker & Partners has agreed to provide an office space and computer support, within the Parker & Partners Canberra Office suite, for the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project to set up and run a National Office. This will be manned by the National Office Manager, Fred McArdle, three days a week during business hours.
''This Memorial will commemorate the sacrifice and service during past present and future Australian Peacekeeping around the globe, and the very real contribution by Australian civilians, military and police in the often dangerous situations they face. Progress with the project is going well with detailed design and documentation complete for the Memorial, which will be built on ANZAC Parade in Canberra by the 65th Anniversary of Australian Peacekeeping on 14 September 2012. Fund raising is continuing and we encourage all Australians to commend and support these brave people as demonstrated by Parker & Partners'', said Peacekeeping Memorial Project Chairman Tim Ford

Tim Ford and Greg Sam finalise the MOU with a handshake.
