Defence Housing Australia Becomes a Friend of Peacekeeping - 30 November 2009
The APMP is very pleased to have received two donations from the Defence Housing Australia totaling $10,000 which qualifies DHA to be given the status of APMP “ Friend of Peacekeeping”.
The Chairman APMP recently visited DHA National Headquarters in Barton ACT to present a Certificate of Appreciation to the Managing Director DHA Mr Michael Del Gigante. During the presentation Mr Del Gigante paid tribute to the wonderful work that continues to be done by Australian Peacekeepers assisting stability and reconstruction in many regions around the world. He was proud that the DHA could assist in providing an excellemce in housing for ADF members many who had deployed on overseas peace operations. He noted that the DFHA strongly supports their service being appropriately recognised through the APMP.

This donation and support is gratefully acknowledged by the APMP Committee. DHA is now listed on the APMP website as a “Friend of Peacekeeping” .
