Donation by UNPOL - 30 September 2009
Vice Chair Mr Matt Burke OAM met with Inspector Ken Tucknott, Manager, Ombudsman / Police Integrity Liaison Office, Ethical Standards Department at Melbourne.
Insp Tucknott, himself a former Peacekeeper in Cyprus, presented a cheque for $500.00 on behalf of UNPOL and said, "It was a pleasure to meet you at last and on behalf of the UNPOL Club I would like to wish you, Tim Ford and the rest of the organising committee all the best in your endeavours to gain suitable recognition for the efforts and sacrifices of Australian Peacekeepers who have for far too long been the under recognised group of Australian representatives abroad".
