Visit by APMP Chair to RAMSI - 12 to 14 August 2009
The Chair of the APMP, Tim Ford, has recently returned from a private visit to the Solomon Islands during which he had the opportunity to visit the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands (RAMSI). The visit, which was supported by Defence and the Australian Federal Police, allowed the Chair to experience at first hand the various activities being undertaken by the Combined Task Force (CTF) of Australian, New Zealand and Tongan soldiers, the Participating Police Forces (PPF) comprising police from the 15 Islands of the Pacific Forum, and the other supporting components of the Mission.
