The Certificate of Appreciation was accepted by the Chairman ANZ, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, The Hon Warwick Smith AM, who noted that the ANZ was delighted to be the first Australian Bank to provide support to the Australian Peacekeeping Project which would recognise the outstanding contribution of Australians to international peace and security in the past, present and future.

This donation by one of the major Australian banks is greatly appreciated by all Australian peacekeepers and is gratefully acknowledged by the APMP Committee.
