The Governor General becomes Patron-in-Chief - 29 May 2009
Chairman of the APMP Maj Gen Tim Ford, AO (ret'd) said " I am happy to announce that Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC, Governor General of Australia, has agreed to be Patron-in-Chief of the APMP. This is great news for all peacekeepers and their families"
Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC said " I am delighted to accept the position of Patron-in-Chief, of the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project, and look forward to offering my support and assistance to the organisation's activities".
