APMP and UNPAA present certificates to QANTAS - 17 April 2009
Today in Sydney the Chairman of the APMP presented a Certificate of Appreciation to QANTAS as a “Partner of Peacekeeping” for their donation of $25, 000 to the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial. During the event attended by General Manager Marketing of QANTAS, Ms Jenny Gulliver and the General Manager Corporate Affairs, Mr Ken Groves, the President of the UN Police Association of Australia, Denis Percy, also presented to QANTAS a photo record of the initial deployment of Australian Police to Cyprus in 1964 on a QANTAS aircraft.
