RSL (QLD) donates $10,000 to the Memorial - 3 November 2007
The APMP was delighted to recently receive a generous donation of $10,000 from the Queensland State Branch of the Returned and Services League of Australia. In presenting the donation, the Queensland State President, Mr Doug Formby, noted that they were pleased to provide this assistance as the RSL in Queensland is working hard to reopen the lines of communication with all areas of the veteran family. He assured the Chairman of the APMP that the RSL (Queensland Branch) will take every opportunity to promote the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project, including reference to it in the State RSL News.
This donation and support is gratefully acknowledged by the APMP Committee. The RSL (Queensland) is now listed on this website as a "Friend of Peacekeeping" on the Donors page.
