Coin Launch a Huge Success - 5 September 2007
On Monday, 3 Sep, the Royal Australian Mint released a $1 coin to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of Peacekeeping. In the first two days of sales, over 300 coins were purchased by collectors.
The Mint is donating part of the proceeds from the sale of each coin to the APMP for construction of the Memorial. The coin is uncirculated making this a collectors piece. At present the coin can only be purchased from the the Royal Australian Mint.
