Denis Percy, UNPAA Representative

Denis Percy

Inspector (Retired), Denis Percy is a Member of the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project Committee. He is National President of the United Nations Police Association of Australia, (UNPAA),an honorary position he has held for the past 15 years. Following a 37 year career with the NSW Police Denis retired in the year 2000 as Security Commander (Boxing), at the Sydney Olympic Games.

Denis served in Cyprus with the Australian Police Contingent of United Nations Civilian Police (AUSTCIVPOL) from 1971 to 1973.During his police career he also served as Patrol Commander Ryde Police Station and Local Area Commander, Blue Mountains Command. Denis resides in Lindfield Sydney with his wife Alexandra and twins Natalie and Grant.
