Matt Burke

Matt Burke, OAM is the Vice Chairman of the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial Project Committee. Following a 25-year career in the Australian Regular Army, he retired and now lives in Albury- Wodonga, where he is the Chief Executive Officer of a National Security company.

Matt served as Force Sergeant Major, on Operation Cedilla, Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO), from November 1993 to May 1994. He is the President of the Australian Peacekeeper & Peacemaker Veterans’ Association-Victorian Branch, an appointment he has held for the past 7 years.
